March is going to be a great month,  first the Duxford Show on March 8th to the 10th, the big Shirty © should be finished, but it will be there anyway, with its smaller brother,  similar bundles are ready plus all the shirty elements, all very clean and fresh.

New versions of “toybox”, “old Swedish”, pick and mix, and washday blues are ready too. If it’s still winter, there are some dark flannels, and the new Bolton  flat brown bundles to enjoy.

The new thread I found is now available in blues, pinks, red, spice and yellow, I’m using it now and its going a long, long way. Talk to me about it at the show.
For some bundles I’ve thrown away the rule book and included some new fabrics (mainly Liberty poplin and varuna) if the colours are right, they have been washed several times and broken in.

According to the show floor plan you will find me fairly close to the wing of the Eurofighter, turn left as you come through the entrance.

I am really pleased to show this quilt made by a lady in America from a standard “wornandwashed”bundle, beautifully pieced and quilted. It should be in a show!blue american quilt

Two days to breathe after Duxford and then off for the first time to the new Spring Knit and Stitch show at Olympia March 14th through to the 17th.K&S Spring Logo choice

Stand C70 will be small but scrumptious, with lots of Liberty fabrics , in dramatic colours, both lawn and Lifestyle, small pieces for decoupage in pretty small designs, limited edition packs of sample pieces including vintage and classic prints, 12” squares all bound up, and die cut shapes. Plus all the worn and washed classics with small fabric collections , bundles and pieces.
