I also have a new colour range of tana lawn pieces in pretty pinks lilacs and mauves, as scarves, cushions and sets of just the pieces.
You will find worn and washed fabrics on stand E25 not 45, as stated in the index of the show programme 😦 , pretty much in the same place as we always are at The Festival of Quilts!
On display are the faded flip flop bundles inspired by a row of retired flip flops seen marking a flower border in Hale, Cornwall, the latest colour way addition to the worn and washed range.
The Liberty cushion, scarf packs sold extremely well on the first day so hopefully I’ll have enough to see me through till Sunday!
Lots of people dropped by and updated us on how their projects are going this is always a delight as you lot are so clever. Please send us pictures I’d love to see them!
I am being asked about the chances of a workshop being announced soon. We’ll sort out the diary and let you know what is going on by mid-September.
I hope to see you very soon,
Bye bye and thank you for your wonderful support.
In a few days time we will be welcoming in 2016! I hope you have enjoyed the festivities and like me are busy preparing resolutions for the New Year.
The development of a new pack of parts (shown above) including thread, buttons and mixed width fabrics sourced from the Liberty and Worn and Washed ranges includes textures, patterns and plains for completing large format projects is well under way.
The interaction with my lovely inspirational customers continues to create new ideas too. Here are two projects which come to mind. A range of oranges for a Halloween challenge and the combining of Liberty and Worn and Washed fabrics together to create instant uniqueness, richness and charm in equal measure; which knows no boundaries.
I loved the following bespoke colour way so much and found that I could recreate it using the available fabrics that are used in my classic worn and washed ranges.
So if you would like to use ‘Earth’ in your next sewing project I now have packs available in both 2m and 4m bundles for immediate despatch!
Finally I can’t help but enjoy the classic worn and washed bundles when they are lifted with the inclusion of new materials, designs and textures sew many fabrics sew little time!
May I wish you a most happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to you and your nearest and dearest. I hope to see you at a show or event in the coming year, the details are on the show page right now.
See you soon!
How about making a quilt top in a day!
